Although some graduate assistant positions offer the opportunity to live on-campus, most do not.  Below are some helpful resources, hints, and tips for graduate students looking for apartments in the Boone area.

Hints & tips from current grads when looking for a place to live off-campus:

• Be careful when looking into living with undergraduates
• Use the Facebook group to find roommates with cohort members
• Be conscious of how close to campus you want to live - closer proximity means more noise on the weekends
• You can live without a dishwasher
• Decide if you want to walk or drive to campus - look for AppalCART stops nearby
• Find out if utilities, cable and internet are included in the rental fee
